Questions? You're not the only one asking.

Whatever's making you hesitate to reach out — cost, your English, your status — chances are someone else has asked us the same thing. Here are honest answers.

Cost & Eligibility

Yes — every program N.E.S.T offers is completely free, with no hidden costs and nothing to pay back. [We're funded through grants and donations — confirm and update this line with your actual funding sources once established.] You will never be asked to pay for a service we offer.

No. We support permanent residents, refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers, international students, and naturalized citizens. If you're not sure whether you qualify, reach out anyway — we'll help you figure it out, and there's no wrong way to ask.

Absolutely. Many people come to us for English classes, family programs, or community connection even after finding work. Our support isn't limited to people who are unemployed.

We don't turn people away because they've been in Canada "too long." Settling in isn't a race, and support is available for as long as it's genuinely useful to you.

Language & Comfort

This is one of the most common worries we hear — and it's exactly why we exist. You don't need strong English to reach out. Improving your English is literally one of our free programs, not a requirement to access the others. [Add specific languages your team currently speaks here once confirmed.]

[Confirm and list the specific languages your team currently supports here.] If we can't offer support directly in your language, we'll do our best to find interpretation or point you toward a resource that can.

It's a relaxed, judgment-free conversation — we'll ask a few simple questions about your situation and goals, and help point you toward the right program. There's no test, no wrong answers, and nothing you say puts you at risk. You can also start by filling out our Contact form instead of calling, if that feels easier.

Privacy & Trust

No. N.E.S.T is a settlement and employment support organization — we are not an immigration enforcement body, and we don't report your information to immigration authorities. Reaching out to us has no bearing on any application or status you hold.

Yes. We only collect what's needed to support you, and we don't sell or share your information without your consent, except where required by law. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Your whole family is welcome. Our Youth & Family programs specifically support spouses, children, and the household as a whole — settling in is rarely just one person's journey.

Getting Started

[Confirm your actual policy here — e.g. "Reaching out by phone or our Contact form first helps us make sure the right person is available to help you" or "Walk-ins are welcome during office hours."] Either way, starting is as simple as one phone call or message.

If you have them: your PR card or immigration documents, a passport or ID, and a resume if you have one. But don't let missing paperwork stop you from reaching out — we can still help you, and we'll guide you on what's needed as we go.

That's completely normal, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Try our quick "Which program is right for me?" quiz, or just reach out directly — we'll help you sort it out in a short conversation.

Yes — this is one of the most common situations we help with. Our Employment Services program exists specifically to help newcomers translate international experience into a resume and job search strategy that works here.
